Shomare

 

Shomare is a high-altitude village in the Khumbu Pasanglamhu region of Solukhumbu, Koshi Province, situated at an elevation of 4,060 meters. Located near Pangboche, it serves as an important stop for trekkers on their way to Everest Base Camp. The village offers breathtaking views of the surrounding Himalayan peaks, including Ama Dablam, and provides a peaceful resting point before ascending to higher altitudes. Shomare is known for its traditional Sherpa culture, with a few teahouses and lodges offering basic accommodation and meals for trekkers. Its serene environment and stunning mountain landscapes make it a memorable stop along the Everest trekking route.
