Sanasa

 

Sanasa is a small hamlet located in the Khumbu Pasanglamhu region of Solukhumbu, Nepal, at an elevation of 3,530 meters. Situated near the hamlet of Kyangjuma and close to Lawi Schyasa, Sanasa serves as an important junction for trekkers on their way to Everest Base Camp. The village offers picturesque views of the surrounding mountains and valleys, adding to the beauty of the Everest region. Its proximity to Kyangjuma, a well-known stop on the trekking route, makes it a convenient and peaceful place to rest and acclimatize before continuing the trek. Sanasa provides trekkers a chance to experience the natural serenity of the Khumbu area, along with a glimpse of the traditional Sherpa way of life.
