Phortse Tenga

Phortse Tenga is a small junction located in the Khumbu region of Nepal, acting as a key crossroads for trekkers. Situated along the Everest Base Camp (EBC) trail, it is the point where one path leads to the larger village of Phortse, while the other heads towards Dole, a village on the route to the Gokyo Lakes. Phortse Tenga is a quiet settlement with a few small lodges offering basic accommodations for trekkers. It serves as an important resting point for those navigating the rugged trails of the region, providing access to some of the most scenic views and trekking routes in the Everest region.
