A Scenic Stop in the Everest Region

 

Kyangjuma is a small yet beautiful settlement in the Khumbu region of Nepal, located at approximately 3,550 meters (11,647 feet) above sea level. It sits along the Everest Base Camp trekking route, between Namche Bazaar and Tengboche, making it a popular resting point for trekkers.

This peaceful village offers stunning panoramic views of the Himalayas, including Ama Dablam, Thamserku, and Everest. It is known for its teahouses and lodges, which provide a comfortable stop for travelers looking to acclimatize before continuing their journey.

Kyangjuma is in the Sagarmatha National Park, allowing visitors to experience the region’s rich flora and fauna, including the Himalayan tahr and Danphe (the national bird of Nepal). The village embodies the warm hospitality of the Sherpa people, making it a charming and memorable stop in the Everest region.
