Ghat

Getting close to the first stop.

 

Ghat is a small village located along the trekking route to Everest Base Camp, situated at an altitude of around 2,550 meters. Nestled in the Dudh Koshi River Valley, Ghat is an important stop for trekkers on their way to higher altitudes. The village offers beautiful views of the surrounding hills and valleys, with traditional Sherpa culture visible in its architecture and daily life. Ghat serves as a peaceful resting point before continuing the trek towards Namche Bazaar and beyond, making it a quiet and scenic part of the Everest region journey.
