Thuklha

Small yet significant Village

Thukla, located at an elevation of about 4,600 meters, is a small yet significant settlement on the Everest Base Camp trekking route. Situated just above Dingboche, it serves as an important stop for trekkers en route to Everest Base Camp. Thukla is known for its stunning panoramic views of towering peaks like Nuptse, Lhotse, and Pumori. The village is also home to a memorial site for fallen mountaineers, including those who lost their lives while attempting to summit Mount Everest. The peaceful atmosphere and the awe-inspiring surroundings make Thukla a memorable part of the Everest trek.
